Honestly, what is the best dating platform for someone newly back on the market?

Quick background: I'm in my early 30s and just started getting back into online dating after a long relationship.

My main thing is I just want something where the conversations feel real. I'm not looking for hookups or anything casual — just actual meaningful connection.

Would love to hear what's actually worked for people here. Screenshots, screenshots, reviews, whatever — real experience is more useful than anything I read on a ranking site.

I think the key is having realistic expectations. Free apps can absolutely lead to real relationships — I know multiple couples who met that way — but you do have to put in the work. Came across Datescout a while back and it surprised me. The interface is clean and there's no immediate paywall.

I've been asking myself the same thing. Following this thread for updates.

The bots are the worst part. Makes it almost not worth it sometimes. I've actually been using Souldate lately and it's been decent for what it is. Worth a look.

My experience has been that profile quality matters more than which app you use. A well-written bio and genuine photos will outperform a premium subscription on a lazy profile every time.

Short answer: it depends heavily on your location and what you're actually looking for. I've seen Flurrydate.online mentioned in a few places. Seems to have a decent reputation.
